It should go without saying that Orlaco’s vision is to provide optimum efficiency and safety for all buses and coaches. We work closely with OEMs across the world to integrate camera monitor systems.

In addition, Orlaco develops and manufactures standard and custom vision solutions specifically for the aftermarket. Our camera monitor systems are developed and produced according to the highest quality standards. We comply with international automotive standards such as IATF 16949, work with proven automotive methods such as APQP/PPAP, and have R46, R10 and R118 type approvals.

MirrorEye™

The innovative and intelligent camera system that replaces the side mirrors on buses and improves visibility for the bus driver. MirrorEye covers a larger field of vision than mirror classes II and IV. This provides greater safety for the driver, passengers and people around the bus. The system is compact, lightweight and has an aerodynamic design, allowing you to make considerable fuel savings. The compact design reduces the risk of damage. All of these factors ultimately reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO).

Rear view

With an Orlaco rear-view camera on your bus or coach, you can gain a better view of the working area to the rear of the vehicle and drive more safely when reversing. The monitor in the cab switches automatically to the rear camera image when reverse gear is engaged. You can also set continuous or manual operation.

Side view

Turning off or changing lanes in a bus or coach is a lot easier with the Orlaco side-view camera. The area immediately to the right of the vehicle or traffic approaching the vehicle is easy to see. With an Orlaco side-view camera, the maneuver is a lot safer, more efficient and more comfortable, and road users and obstacles are clearly visible. This camera monitor system can be combined with front and rear-view systems to optimize the view further.

View on tail swing

Hazardous situations can arise when the bus driver has a limited view of the area to the rear of the bus. With the Orlaco rear corner view camera system, this problem is a thing of the past. Two cameras on both rear corners of the bus provide a clear image of the tail swing, giving the driver an optimum view of entire area behind the bus. The rear corner view camera system can also be enhanced with other cameras.
